Liwily Notes Support
Write to us
If something does not work the way you expect, write to support@liwily.com. A person reads it, not a bot, and we reply as soon as we can.
To help us help you faster, tell us:
- Which device you use (iPhone, iPad or Mac) and its system version.
- What you were trying to do and what happened instead.
- If you can repeat it, the steps so it happens to us too.
Send a diagnostic report from the app
For sync problems or odd failures, a diagnostic report is the most useful thing:
- Open Settings → Help → Send diagnostics.
- An email opens, already addressed to us, with a technical file attached.
- Review it if you like, and send it.
The report does not include the text, titles or files of your notes: only dates, counts, error types and versions. The details are in the privacy notice.
Frequently asked questions
Where are my notes stored?
On your device. If you turn on sync, also in your Google Drive (in a private app folder) or in a folder you choose, for example in iCloud Drive. We have no copy.
How do I move my notes to another device?
Turn on sync with the same account or the same folder on both devices. You can also export a backup (.liwily file) on one device and import it on the other.
How do I make a backup?
From Settings you can export a full backup to a .liwily file and keep it wherever you like. Before creating it, the app asks for Face ID, Touch ID or your device passcode. The app does not encrypt it: keep it somewhere you trust.
Do the AI features cost money?
They use your own API key from the provider you choose, so usage is billed by that provider at its rates. The text goes straight from your device to the provider, without passing through us.
How do I delete all my data?
In Settings, «Delete all my data». You can choose:
- On this device only: deletes everything on the device, including your AI keys. Google Drive and your folder are left untouched.
- On this device and every device on your account: also deletes your data in Google Drive and on your other devices when they connect.
If you sync with a folder (for example, in iCloud Drive), you delete that folder yourself from Files or the Finder. Before deleting, the app offers to make a backup.
Does Face ID lock encrypt my notes?
No. It hides them inside the app and asks for Face ID to open them, but they remain part of your data, your sync and your backups.
